Minister of Finance Salem Saleh Bin Brik discussed with his Qatari counterpart Ali bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari the latest developments in the economic and financial situation in Yemen, and the major challenges facing public finances in the country light of the continuing Houthi war and coup 'd'état.
Talks went over the efforts to promote aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, and the support required in the current difficult stage to back the government’s efforts to fulfill its obligations and improve the level of services and infrastructure, and to continue implementing Yemen's comprehensive reform program in economic, financial, monetary and administrative fields.
