Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak has ordered for a comprehensive strategy to be devised to bring a radical resolution to the electricity supply problems, which strategy takes into account reducing the burden of power service on the state budget and ensuring a sustainable electric current to the public.

The Prime Minister made the orders as he chaired, in Aden today, a meeting that brought together the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Electricity, and the head of the public Tender Committee for purchasing fuel for power generation stations.

Bin Mubarak highlighted the need to quit partial solutions and move towards clear perspectives to devise radical solutions and real reforms in the electricity sector.
