The Civil Aviation and Met. Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Governor of Marib governorate Maj. General Sultan al-Arada declared opening Marib-al-Baidha- Sana'a highway starting from today Sunday at:12 o'clock midday, 9 June 2024 after necessary arrangements had been completed.
He recalled the government's stated initiative that announced on Thursday, 22 February about opening the road of (Marib-Fardhat Nehm-Sana'a), asserting then that Marib authority is ready to open all the highways that connect Marib governorate to other governorates.
His declaration came during his meeting today, Sunday, here in Marib city with the Representatives of the community initiative aims to open the highways.
The PLC's member asserted that the political leadership led by the Chairman of the PLC His Excellency President Dr. Rashad all-Alimi has been very keen to open all the closed highways between all governorates given that all Yemenis have the right to use the roads.
