Speaker of Parliament Sultan al-Barakani participated today, Monday, in the conclusion session of Arab Parliamentary Union held the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.
The final communiqué of the gathering called for establishing the comprehensive and permanent peace Yemen that is based on the well-known terms of the peace references including the GCC's Initiative, its executive mechanism, outcomes of the National Dialogue and the International Security Council resolutions, most notable is 2216.
The statement also called for supporting the efforts of the UN's Special Envoy to Yemen and the good offices of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman to bring the Yemeni crisis to its end and establish sustainable peace.
