The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Planning Minister praises Kuwaiti Fund's interventions in Yemen

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Wa'id Badhib greatly valued the significant interventions of the Kuwaiti Fund in different fields in Yemen.
He made his comment during his conversations today, Thursday, with Acting-Director of the Kuwaiti Fund Waleed Shmlan al-Bahr on the sidelines of 53rd Annual Meetings of the Board of Governors of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development held in Cairo.
Badhib's discussions with al-Bahr covered the Kuwaiti Fund's interventions and projects in Yemen most notable of all is the project of Marib-gas station.
Al-Bahr stated that the Kuwaiti Fund is keen on providing the Yemeni government with necessary support to enable it manage the current hardships.
