MASAM removes over 2000 Houthis-laid landmines in a week

KSrelief Center's Demining Project in Yemen known as (MASAM) managed to remove 2010 of landmines and unexploded ordinances (UXO) in the second week of May 2024.

KSrelief Center reported that MASAM's deminers pulled out 11 anti-personnel and19 anti-tanks landmines and 1980 UXO.

It is important to note that MASAM has removed 442 thousand and 77 landmines since it started its demining mission in 2018, all planted randomly by Iran-allied Terrorist Houthi militiamen in different Yemeni regions.
