Arab leaders participating in the Arab League summit in Bahrain have renewed their steadfast backing for the Presidential Leadership Council under the chairmanship of Dr. Rashad al-Alimi.

The leaders of the Arab countries states also voiced support the efforts of the Yemeni government as it seeks to realize reconciliation between all components of the Yemeni people and unify the ranks within them to achieve security and stability in Yemen.

The Bahrain Declaration issued as an outcome of the Manama session confirmed support for regional and international efforts to arrive a comprehensive solution to the crisis in the country in line with the terms reference, namely: The Gulf Initiative, the outcomes of the Yemeni National Dialogue Conference, and UN Security Council Resolution No. 2216."
