Shura Council presidency condemns Houthi kidnapping of 11 Tihamis on trumped-up charges
[13/05/2024 01:21]
ADEN – SABA
The Presidency of the Shura Council condemned the Houthi arrest and torture of 11 civilians from Tihama on trumped-up, malicious charges.

The terrorist Houthi militia had kidnapped the Tihamis from their homes and workplaces.

The Shura presidency said in a statement the Houthi comes as no surprise from a guerilla that had been practicing murders, intimidation and kidnapping of civilians.

The statement recalled the militia’s execution in mid-September 2021 of 9 Tihamis, including a minor child, in full view of the world.

"We in the Shura Council condemn this despicable criminal behavior that reflects hidden hatred towards the people of Tihama in particular and Yemenis in general," read the statement.
