Al-Zandani reiterated the government’s welcoming of the peace and security brokerage efforts in Yemen, praising UN envoy's and the regional and international efforts aimed at achieving this.
He called for pressuring the terrorist Houthi militia to fulfill their obligations and cooperate in resolving the crisis through a political path that ends human suffering in Yemen and leads to a lasting peace as per the locally and internationally agreed upon terms of reference for settlement.
The UN envoy appreciated the Yemeni government’s interest in ending human suffering and achieving peace and security.
