His Excellency President of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad Mohammed al-Alimi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, honored on Thursday the martyrs of duty from the Armed Forces, Popular Resistance, and all military formations by awarding them the Medal of Bravery.
The medal was received by the Minister of Defense, Major General Mohsen al-Da'eri.
President al-Alimi also honored the martyrs of duty from the Ministry of Interior and all security forces by awarding them the Medal of Bravery, which was received by the Minister of Interior Brigadier General Ibrahim Haidan.
President of the Presidential Council, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, also honored the wounded in duty from the Armed Forces, Popular Resistance, and all military formations, as well as the wounded in duty from the Ministry of Interior and all security forces, by awarding them the Medal of War Wounded.
The honoring of the heroic martyrs and wounded with prestigious military and security medals comes as a tribute and appreciation for their sacrifices in the Yemeni people's battle against the aggressive Houthi project and terrorist organizations, and their sincere defense of the republican system and its accomplishments.
It is a recognition of their dedication and significant sacrifices in confronting Houthi terrorist militia's coup against the state.
After their promotion to the rank of Major General, President al-Alimi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, awarded the 26th of September medals of the first degree to the military and security leaders, Major General Mahmoud Ahmed Salemi al-Subaihi, Major General Nasser Mansour Hadi, received on his behalf by his son Sanad, and Major General Faisal Mohammed Rajab.
This is in recognition and appreciation of their heroic role in the Yemeni people's battle against the aggressive Houthi agenda, the forces of darkness and terrorism, and their sincere defense of the republican system and its accomplishments.
The honor ceremony acknowledges their contributions and their noble efforts in building and developing the military and security institutions and enhancing their role in protecting the country, its people's interests, and national security.
President of the Presidential Council also honored the political activist who is unjustly detained by the Houthi terrorist militias, Mohammed Mohammed Qahtan, with the the 26th of September Medal of the first degree, received on his behalf by his son Abdulrahman.
Honoring Activist Qahtan comes in recognition and appreciation of his role in the Yemeni people's battle against the aggressive Houthi project and his sincere defense of the republican system and its accomplishments.
It also acknowledges his dedication and significant contributions in enhancing the role of the national movement and its political forces, and his peaceful struggle to build the just democratic state.
