Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Maj. Gen. Sultan Al-Arada and the US Ambassador to Yemen Steven Fagin held talks today on the latest developments in Yemen in light of developments in the region.
In a virtual meeting, al-Arada and Fagin focused talks on the developments of events in Yemen on the humanitarian, political and economic levels, and other issues of mutual concern.
Talks went over the developments in Gaza and the entire occupied Palestinian territories, with al-Arada condemning the persistent Israeli massacring of civilians in Palestine, expressing his hope that the efforts of the mediators currently in place will result in an immediate cessation of this devastating and unjust Israeli war and admittance of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Internally in Yemen, Al-Arada renewed the Presidential Leadership Council's adherence to the goal of a comprehensive and just peace that meets the Yemeni people's aspirations, ends human suffering, and helps in bringing about security and stability and strengthening social peace.
