Yemen's Cabinet convened a regular meeting to address a host of emerging political, military, security, economic, service and health issues.
The meeting chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak mulled a number of proposals for the government to carry out in these exceptional circumstances, and to rearrange priorities in line with the prompt needs and available capacities to reduce the burden of living conditions on the public.
Ministers in charge of public service and economic affairs brought forward reports on the current situation, and ongoing efforts to handle challenges and irregularities through a fast track approach to devise solutions, especially in regards to power supply problems and controlling down spiral of the exchange rates of the national currency.
