The Government of Yemen has expressed its deep concern and regret regarding the recent decision made by the U.S. Administration to restrict the entry of citizens of the Republic of Yemen to the United States, as part of a group of countries included in this decision.

Yemen, French discuss coordinating positions towards joint issues

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council General Lieutenant Faraj al-Bahsani discussed Sunday with French Ambassador to Yemen Catherine Cammon coordinating positions of the two friendly countries towards issues of common concern.

The meeting touched upon latest political developments and regional, international efforts to realize peace in Yemen and positive interaction by the Presidential Leadership Council and the government with regional initiatives to alleviate suffering of the Yemeni people.

Al-Bahsani talked about the characteristics of Hadhramout Governorate like diversity of natural resources in fishery, animal, agricultural, oil and mineral sectors, uttering readiness of the Presidential Leadership Council and the local authority to provide necessary facilitations for implementing development and economic projects to enhance national economy.

For her part, the French diplomat confirmed her country's firm and supporting position to efforts of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to realize aspirations of the Yemeni people.
