Deputy Minister of Finance Hani Wahab and a UN delegation to Yemen, discussed here today the latest developments regarding the economic and financial situation in Yemen, and the Houthi escalation of economic war to the exacerbation of human suffering of the Yemeni people.
The meeting went over the regional and international efforts to realize peace in Yemen, and the impact of Houthi attacks that brought to a halt the export of crude oil, which bring 65 to 70 % of the state’s total public revenues.
The meeting went over the government’s efforts to implement a comprehensive economic and financial reform program and realize stability and improve the national economy and overall situation by alleviating human suffering in the country.
