FM, UN special envoy discuss political process revival

Yemen's Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Shaea al-Zandani held talks with the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy to Yemen Hans Grundberg over the developments in Yemen mainly the quest to revive the political process in the country under UN auspices.
The Minister referred to the recent Houthi military and economic escalations, which worsen the economic crisis and undermined chances of political action and realizing peace.
The minister laid emphasis on the need for the international community to reconsider their lenient approach to the Houthi transgressions and stop the militia's aggressive violations and force the militia to engage seriously in a political track and sue for a peaceful solution based on the relevant references mainly the UN Security Council resolutions which call for Houthis to undo the coup.
