Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Rashad al-Alimi has phone called Governor of Hadhramaut Mabkhoot bin Madhi follow up on the efforts and measures taken in bracing for air depression in Hadhramout.

The president checked on the plans to confront the effects of the depression that has affected the governorate during the past hours, in concomitance with heavy rains and floods that have left human losses and damages to property, agricultural lands, roads and infrastructure.

Governor bin Madhi have al-Alimi an initial assessment on the impact of the depression and the progress of relief and evacuation activities carried out by emergency teams in different parts of the governorate.

Al-Alimi had conducted a phone call with Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak yesterday to pursue the same matter and instructed the government to raise the state of preparedness and intensify precautionary measures in coordination between different official and communal entities.
