Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Arab Republic of Egypt Khalid Bahah held discussions today, Thursday, with the Egyptian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Ayman Ashoor over bilateral cooperation in higher education and scientific research.
Bashah sought to update the cooperation protocol the two countries signed in 2015 to promote academic collaboration and internship between the Egyptian and Yemeni universities.
The conversations touched upon the situations of the Yemeni students at the Egyptian universities who have some problems need further Egyptian cooperation to be addressed.
Ambassador Bashah asked for more Egyptian scholarships for the Yemeni students at reasonable fees.
The Egyptian Minister underscored the importance of communications and cooperation with the Yemeni universities, suggesting meetings to further develop the bilateral relations and exchange researches.
