Yemen's Ambassador to Tokyo Adel al-Sunaini discussed Wednesday with the Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department at the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ando Toshihidi means of enhancing mutual relations between the two countries.

The meeting touched upon several key topics associated with economic and political conditions in Yemen, including latest developments in the Red Sea and dangerous repercussions over Houthi terrorist militia's attacks on the international navigation and targeting ships and reflections of these repercussions on complicating Yemen's humanitarian crisis.

General conditions in the country and efforts of the government in addressing economic and development challenges, as well as significance of expanding Japanese support, especially programs of rehabilitating and capacity building of administrative cadre and national institutions.
