The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced today the designation of 21 individuals and entities, as well as the identification of one vessel, on the sanctions list for their involvement in transporting petroleum products, purchasing weapons and equipment and providing financial services to the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

MASAM removes 669 Houthi-laid landmines in a week

KSrelief Center's Demining Project in Yemen known as" MASAM" managed remove 669 of landmines and unexploded ordnances (UXO) in the fourth week of February 2024 from different Yemeni regions.
The Center reported that MASAM's deminers pulled out 23 anti-personnel and 109 anti-tanks landmines and removed 437 UXO, all randomly planted by Iran-allied Terrorist Houthi militiamen in different areas around the country.
This brings total number of the landmines and UXO removed by MASAM since it has started its demining mission in 2018 up to 434 thousand and 2.
