Parliament Speaker inspects Yemen's consulate in Jeddah

Parliament Speaker Sultan al-Barakani paid Monday a visit to the Consulate of the Republic of Yemen here and inspected its activities.

Al-Barakani, along with Parliament Member Ali al-Ansi, toured the sections of the consulate, listening from Consul Bafaqih and members of the mission to detailed explanation on the nature of the work of the consulate and conditions and issues of Yemeni expatriates and process of their procedures.

Al-Barakani praised efforts of consulate's cadre and their leadership in Jeddah, commending them for their keenness on achieving procedures of the expatriates on time. He urged the leadership and affiliates of the consulate to continue their efforts to provide best services to Yemeni community in Saudi Arabia.

For his part, Ambassador Bafaqih reviewed services provided by the consulate to Yemeni community and visitors and other issues related to the consulate's work.
