Info minister says Houthi kidnapping of 97 fooled defectors to their side shows Houthis as rogue gang
[14/02/2024 06:31]
ADEN - SABA
Yemen's Minister of Information Muammar al-Eryani, said, “The Houthi kidnapping and detention of 97 military and civil servants whom the terrorist Houthi militia enticed throughout the past four years (with a false amnesty) shows the true nature of Houthis as a rogue gang."

The militia has been playing a confidence and blackmailing game to lure back pro-government soldiers and political and media activists to return to their hometowns in areas under the militia's control and when the "reverts" fall for the Houthi trick, they end up in jails or Houthi fighters ranks and frontlines.

The militia threw many of the so-called "reverts" in the militia's “Security and Intelligence Service” and forced them to attend dozens of cultural radicalization courses, and sent them to the battle on various battle fronts, said al-Eryani.
