The Yemeni-Japanese Friendship Association organized in the Japanese capital a seminar under the title "Future Prospects in Yemen: Conflict and Prospects for Peace."
Yemeni officials including the country's ambassador to Tokyo Adel Al-Sunaini and Japanese security and defense researchers participated in the event.
Discussions centers on the the background and trends of the conflict, and peace prospects in Yemen as well as the threat to international shipping lanes and energy supplies in addition to the current turbulence in the Middle East and Palestine in particular.
