The Acting Chargé d'Affairs of the Yemeni Embassy in Sofia Ambassador Ahmed Shamar discussed today with the Head of the Middle East and Africa Division at the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry, Roman Petrov, the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them.
Ambassador Shamar touched on developments in the situation in the Red Sea and the position of the Yemeni government in dealing with these developments. For his part, the Bulgarian official affirmed his country's support for UN, international and European efforts to create real and sustainable peace opportunities in Yemen and the region.
