Deputy Minister of Interior for the Civil Services Sector Major General Abdul Majid Al-Amiri discussed today with the Director of Immigration and Border Governance Programs at the International Organization for Migration Engineer Ahmed Al-Iraqi the problems and obstacles facing the electronic visa project at the Immigration and Passports Department, which is funded by the organization.
The meeting discussed the necessary solutions to these problems and ways to ensure the success of the project, its development and its launch at ports and airports.
In the meeting, Al-Amiri stressed that the electronic visa service is one of the modern technologies that aims to simplify and facilitate the procedures for obtaining visas for Arabs and foreigners, save the time and effort of auditors, and reduce congestion in immigration and passport centers, in addition to enhancing the speed and flexibility of the process of obtaining visas.
