Minister of Local Administration Hussein Al-Aghbari discussed with representatives of the Women’s Summit Coordination Committee, headed by the President of Wojoud Foundation for Human Security, Maha Awad, mechanisms and programmatic plans supporting the empowerment of women and their involvement in the various social sectors at the central and local levels in the administrative units of the local authorities.

Minister Al-Aghbari stressed the importance of working in accordance with strategic plans for the development of women’s affairs and joint coordination with various women’s sectors and relevant organizations aimed at developing society in general... reiterating the ministry’s keenness to empower women and enhance their role in various leadership positions and in various governmental sectors.
