Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik chaired the first meeting of the technical committee tasked with addressing urgent political and economic developments.
The tasks of the committee, headed by the cabinet's secretary-general, were discussed, and its work priorities, including following up and coordinating procedures for dealing with the re-designation of Houthisd as a terrorist organization in a way that ensures that commercial activity and relief and humanitarian work are not affected.
The meeting reviewed the role that the technical committee can play in coordinating procedures between the ministries and concerned authorities, leading to integration of work and unification of efforts to enhance the effectiveness of performance and implementation of the decisions taken, in addition to developing a plan to communicate with the international community in light of recent developments.
