In partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the National Committee for Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing, organized here today a workshop on “The Forty Recommendations.”
The workshop which brought together members from the Committee and governmental audit authorities, aims to enhance the exchange of knowledge, proposals, methods of deduction, full familiarity with the forty recommendations, and determine the level of their implementation, as well as the professionalism of the work of the technical committees and the skills of the members, and the formulation of a mini-strategy to implement the recommendations.
The workshop reviewed the criteria of the forty recommendations in accordance with international standards that countries should implement by taking measures customized to their circumstances, legal and administrative frameworks, and financial systems.
