Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muamar al-Eryani accompanied by Brigadier General Muneef al-Mutairi, the Commander of the 808 Duty Support and Backing Force in the Joint Forces, visited Tuesday the Saudi Makeshift Hospital in Socotra.
The hospital, which has been constructed by King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Activities Center, has the capacity of 100 beds.
Minister al-Eryani learned about the free of charge services the hospital provides to the citizens of Socotra. The hospital set up five camps, two of them were for ophthalmology and surgeries, more than 500 patients benefited from these services.
The hospital also includes a camp for dermatology and cosmetic diseases has provided services to more than 532 cases, a camp for pediatric urology provided services to 365 children and a camp for adult urology provided services to 116 cases.
Al-Eryani expressed gratitude and thanks to King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Activities Center for the relief and humanitarian projects provided to Yemen in general and to Socotra Province in particular.
