Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ahmad Awadh BinMubarak received Saturday US Envoy for Yemen Tim Lenderking on the sidelines of his participation in Sir Bani Yas Forum is being held here.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed latest developments in Yemen, resumption of peace process and Houthi Terrorist Militia's threats to international navigation and their impacts on international security and stability.
BinMubarak renewed position of the Presidential Leadership Council on abiding by inclusive and sustainable peace in Yemen on the bases of the three agreed upon references; the GCC Initiative, the Outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and Security Council's Resolution 2216.
He also confirmed support of efforts of brothers and friends aiming at reviving peace process.
For his part, the US envoy confirmed his country's support to the Presidential Leadership Council and its legitimate government and supporting their efforts, as well as support to the political and peaceful solution for regaining security and stability in Yemen.
