The KSrelief Center and the UNDP signed a memorandum of additional financial contribution totaling $ 8 million provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to address the existing threat from the Safer oil tanker.

The agreement signed by the Assistant General Supervisor of the KSrelief Center for Operations and Programs Eng. Ahmed al-Baiz and the Assistant Secretary-General and Regional Director for Arab Countries at the UNDP Dr. Abdullah Al-Dardari comes to address the environmental and economic threat poses by the Safer Tanker on the Yemeni coast and to help neutralizing its potential risks.
