Deputy Chief of Staff Major General Ahmed al-Basser held discussions today, Tuesday, in the temporary capital Aden with the European diplomats over the developments of military and security situations in Yemen.
The meeting included Ambassadors of the EU Gabriel Vinals, Germany Hubert Jagger, France Katherine Corm Kammoun, the Netherlands Jannette Seppen.
The conversations focused on the recent military escalations by Houthi militias, mainly the militias' terrorist attacks and piracy actions that pose dangerous threat to the international marine navigation and global trade lines.
General al-Basser stressed that it is very important for the EU to support the government armed forces to counter the Houthi terrorist danger.
The European diplomats have confirmed the EU's support for Yemen to reach a comprehensive peace and counter the terrorist threats.
