Yemen participated in the United Nations Industrial Development Organization UNIDO's general conference which kicked off in the Austrian capital, Vienna, today under the title (Fair Globalization: Innovative Solutions for the Industry of Tomorrow).
Yemen's delegation is headed by the country's Minister of Industry and Trade, Muhammad Al-Ashwal.
The 5-day conference, with the participation of representatives of 172 member states of the UNIDO, discusses the issues of eliminating hunger, UNIDO’s contributions, sustainable supply chains, achieving fair globalization, climate action, and accelerating industrial development that achieves net-zero emissions and can be resilient to climate change.
