Deputy governor of Hodeidah Governorate, Walid Al-Qudami discussed with the representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Yemen the human rights situation in the liberated areas of the governorate.
The representative of the Commission expressed his satisfaction with the level of cooperation and coordination with the local authority in Hodeidah, to protect human rights.
The UN official was briefed on the conditions of the detainees in the Al-Khawkha District Police Department, and listened to an explanation of their conditions from them.
He also visited the Public Health and Population Office, and was informed of the health situation and the nature of the required needs.
