Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Wa'id Batheeb discussed Thursday with Representative of the UNICEF in Yemen Peter Hukenz enhancing cooperation to implement more interventions in fields of health, water and social protection.
Batheeb pointed out to significance of UNICEF's interventions in several vital sectors and helping government's efforts in alleviating humanitarian suffering under difficult economic conditions left by the war in the country.
For his part, the UN official confirmed keenness of the organization on continuing support to government's efforts and implementing different interventions and projects.
