Prime Minister follows up preparations for dealing with Tej storm

Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik has followed up the track of the cyclonic storm "Tej" in the Arab Sea heading to many provinces led by Socotra, Mahra and Hadhramout and followed up readiness of local authorities in these provinces and emergency rooms to deal with the repercussions of the storm.

Prime Minister made intensive calls on Saturday with Governors of Hadhramout Mabkhout bin Madhi, Mahra Mohammed Ali Yasser and Socotra Ra'afat al-Theqali and officials of emergency rooms in the three provinces.

He got acquainted with details of the executive plans for facing the cyclone and necessary needs for facing any impacts could be resulted by the cyclonic storm.

While he confirmed importance of doubling efforts to overcome the aftermaths of the cyclone, he directed coordination with UN and international organizations and partners of humanitarian work to face any potential emergency incident.
