Yemen participates in the ninth conference of environment ministers in Islamic World

The Republic of Yemen participated today, Thursday, in the Ninth Conference of the Ministers of Environment in the Islamic World held in the Saudi City of Jeddah.
Minister of Environment and Water Eng. Tawfiq Asharjabi contributed to the deliberations of the gathering organized during the time 18 to 19 of this month with a participation by 52 countries.
Asharjabi stated that the Republic of Yemen is keen to deliver on its environmental obligations despite of the challenges it has been struggling with as a result of the war's consequences.
He noted that the government has embarked on mobilizing the necessary finances and resources to habilitate the environment's natural resources which have been affected by the war and the climate changes.
