During the meeting, Al-Erada, stressed the importance of political parties playing their role in educating society and supporting state institutions to overcome current challenges, pointing to the difficult stage our country is going through on the political, economic, humanitarian and livelihood levels, in addition to the military and security challenges and the continued escalation by the terrorist Houthi militias and their continued targeting of civilians in several areas.

The member of the Presidential Leadership Council pointed out that these exceptional conditions make it necessary for political leaders, academics, social figures, sheikhs, notables, scholars, intellectuals, the media, and all those influential in society, to work on everything that would unite the Republican ranks and strengthen the national alignment to withstand the national battle against the Houthi rebel and terrorist militias, stressing the need to stay away from political quarrels, narrow partisan interests, and inflammatory and irresponsible media discourse that threatens the cohesion of the ranks and society, reinforces the division between its political, military and security components, and undermines all efforts aimed at restoring the Yemeni state and its institutions hijacked by the terrorist Houthi militias supported by Iran.
