The Head of the Mission of the Republic of Yemen to the European Union, Ambassador Muhammad Taha Mustafa, met today with the Advisor to the President of the European Council, Manon Barthoud.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the situation in Yemen, the efforts made to bring about peace based on basic references, and the continued intransigence of the Houthi militias against initiatives, including the disbursement of salaries in the areas under their control.
For her part, the Advisor Barthoud affirmed the European Union's continued support for the UN envoy to Yemen and the initiatives to bring peace and end the suffering of the Yemenis.
