Presidential Leadership Council Commends Government's Decisions, Considers them Starting Point to Build State Institutions Competent to Deliver on its Obligations
An official source in the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) welcomed the package of practical economic, financial and administrative decisions and measures taken by the Council of Ministers in its meeting today, Tuesday, in the temporary capital, Aden, chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Shaya Zindani, describing them as a step forward on the path of comprehensive reforms aimed at improving living conditions, enhancing the efficiency of state institutions, consolidating the principles of transparency and governance, and building an economic and administrative model capable of satisfying the aspirations of the people.

Aden: Planning Minister meets with directors of Rahma and Child Care organizations in Yemen

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Waed Badhib, discussed today, in the interim capital, Aden, with the President and founder of the Rahma Worldwide Relief and Development Organization, the level of the organization’s current implementation of a project to drill an artesian water well to benefit 10,000 residents of Qahira District in Taiz Governorate at a cost of 83 thousand dollars.

The Minister of Planning stressed the importance of the project in supporting government efforts to provide services, especially water, to the community and alleviate the suffering of citizens in light of the current difficult circumstances resulting from the war.

He reiterated the importance of continuing joint efforts between the government, donors and international organizations to move forward in achieving stability and comprehensive and sustainable development.

The Minister of Planning and International Cooperation also met today, in Aden, with the Director of the Save the Children Organization in Yemen, Rama Hansraj, on the occasion of the end of its term.

Minister Badhib praised the efforts and interventions of the organization concerned with children in Yemen, stressing the importance of strengthening and expanding the organization’s interventions in the next stage in supporting children, especially those with cancer and chronic diseases, and those with disabilities and special needs, pointing to the negative effects of the war on various groups and segments of society, especially the children’s segment.
