Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Maj. General Aidarous al-Zubaidi paid today, Tuesday, an inspection visit to Aden Refineries Corporation.
He convened a meeting with the management of the Company with the presence of Minister of State, Governor of the temporary capital Aden Ahmed Lamlas, briefing the Company's leadership and staff on the decisions and measures have been taken to reinvigorate the Refineries' businesses.
The Company's management detailed the Member of the Presidential Leadership Council about the ongoing efforts of the managerial and technical cadres to re-operate the Refinery and the challenges facing them.
Al-Zubaidi noted that the decisions have already been made about re-operating Aden Refineries, in the first phase it will serve as a free-zone area for storage oil derivatives while arrangements must start to the refining operations.
General al-Zubaidi stated that re-operating Aden Refineries will be a genuine indicator that the development drive has already moved forward due to the Refinery's significant economic role and given that it is a key source of revenues.
