Prime Minister convenes meeting with Defense Ministry Headship to discuss situations in Lahj frontlines

Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik convened a meeting with the leadership of the Defense Ministry and the Command of the Fourth Military Region and Lahj governorate to discuss the military situations in the flashpoints in Lahj governorate where Houthi militiamen have increased their escalation recently.

The meeting included Minister of Defense (Lt Gen) Mohssen Ada'iri, the Commander of the Fourth Military Region Maj.

General Fadhl Hassan and the Governor of Lahj Maj. General Ahmed Turki who provided Dr. Ma'een on detailed reports about the situations in the frontlines of Karish, Yafe'a and al-Massaimer in Lahj governorate in light of the recent military escalation by the terrorist Houthi militias.

The governor also reported to the Prime Minister about the situations of the basic services and the local authority's plans and actions to improve them, citing the challenges need to be addressed.
