President al-Alimi convenes meeting with Almahrah local authority

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, held session today, Thursday, with the leadership of the local authority in Almahrah governorate.

The meeting aimed to discuss the basic services and development drive in the governorate, challenges facing the local authority and the needed support by the government.

The governor provided a detailed presentation about the situations in the government, the local authority's efforts and plans to improve basic services and pressing priorities and challenges need to be addressed in the fields of electricity, agriculture, fishery, highways, education and sport.

President al-Alimi praised the local authority's efforts, promising the Presidential Leadership Council's full support for the local authority's efforts and plans aiming to alleviate the people suffering and speed up the development drive in the governorate.
