Ministry of Health and WHO start reviewing joint programs

The Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qasim Buhaibeh, called for the necessity of optimal use of the available resources to find sustainable solutions for the health sector in the country.

In his speech during the joint programs review session and the development of the joint cooperation strategy between the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization held in Aden, he stressed the importance of adopting the periodic review with the World Health Organization to evaluate work, improve performance and face challenges in the health sector in light of the exceptional circumstances of the country.

He indicated that the WHO is a key and effective partner, and with the Ministry, they formed one working team and together, they achieved good results and better institutional work. Bahibeh expressed his hope that the review would make a quality leap in joint work and that they would achieve the desired results.
