The Acting-UK Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Charles Hoper said "his country intends to provide about 160 million pounds sterling financial support to Yemen over the next four years."
This is came during his meeting today, Friday, in the temporary capital Aden with the Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qassem Buhaibeh.
Buhaibheh's conversations with Hoper focused on the challenges facing health sector and the measures taken by the Ministry to deal with these challenges.
The Minister noted that it happened that Yemen had proved free-Polio but the disease has resurrected recently in the Houthi militias-controlled regions, therefore the Ministry has carried out vaccination campaigns in the governorate-held governorates where no single case of Polio was registered so far.
