President Rashad Mohammed al-Alimi, the Chairman of Presidential Leadership Council, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces held phone calls on Thursday with Council members Lieutenant General Abdulrahman al-Muharrami and Lieutenant General Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Prime Minister Dr. Shaya Zindani to check on their safety and that of government members following a Houthi missile and drone attack on the presidential Maashiq Palace in the interim capital, Aden.

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Turkish Republic have confirmed their full support for the Presidential Leadership Council in Yemen and the ongoing regional and UN-led efforts to reach a comprehensive political solution to the Yemeni crisis.

A joint statement issued upon the conclusion of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit to Riyadh voiced appreciation to the UN's efforts to boost the commitment to the truce, emphasizing the importance of Houthi militia's engagement constructively in the regional and international efforts to put an end of the Yemeni crisis and dealing positively with the peace proposals and efforts.
