The General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology participated in a workshop in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, on the prevention of aircraft accidents, which is organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in cooperation with some concerned authorities in the Middle East and North Africa region, under the slogan (collection and analysis of accident data). and meteorological facts with the aim of preventing civil aviation accidents).
The three-day workshop aims to introduce the participants to the basic principles of the International Civil Aviation Organization, to reduce civil aircraft accidents and incidents. The Moroccan Minister of Transport and Logistics, Mohamed Abdel Jalil, emphasized the importance of civil aviation safety and security to reduce aircraft accidents.
He pointed to the importance of continuous improvement in the level of international civil aviation safety to ensure that air transport performs its main role in achieving economic, social and sustainable development all over the world.
