Ambassador of Yemen to Moscow Ahmad al-Wahishi discussed Wednesday with Deputy Minister of Russian Foreign Ministry, the Representative or Russian President Michael Bogdanov latest developments in Yemen.

Al-Wahishi touched upon the UN consensus in the Security Council to criticize the militias in destroying Yemen's economy and military escalation, calling for taking serious position against Houthi militia's acts contradicting international efforts for ending the war in Yemen.

For his part, Bogdanov confirmed Russian support to the Presidential Leadership Council under President al-Alimi.

He expressed hope of reaching apolitical solution on the bases of the GCC Initiative, the Outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and Security Council Resolution No. 2216.
