The Republic of Yemen is joining the 51st Session of the Council of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) held in Vienna, Austria.
Yemen's Ambassador to Vienna and Permanent Representative to the Office of the UN and international organizations Haitham Shuja'addin contributed to the opening session.
He delivered a speech in which he underscored the importance of supporting the economies of the countries which are enduring conflicts and instability including Yemen in order to be capable of establishing solid base for political process.
Shuja'adding called on the International Community and donors to offer Yemen substantial assistance to support the economic sectors including banking and private sectors through the leading organizations in this domain first and foremost the UNIDO.
