Interior minister receives Norwegian MP

Minister of Interior Ibrahim Hidan discussed Monday with Member of Norway Parliament Himanshu Gulati enhancing cooperation relations between the two countries in security fields and means of improving them.

The two parties also discussed a number of issues of common concern.

The meeting tackled latest political and security developments in Yemen and suffering of Yemeni people over Houthi militia's war, in addition to means of realizing peace in Yemen.

Minister Hidan praised efforts of Norway for supporting Yemen, hoping more support in different domains.

He confirmed keenness of the government of Yemen and ministry of interior on providing different forms of facilitations for enhancing cooperation between the two countries.

For his part, the Norwegian MP confirmed keenness of his country on giving Yemen big attention and renewed keenness of Norway on Yemen's security, stability and unity.
