President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received today, Thursday, a high-level Egyptian military delegation headed by Major General Muhammad Ismail Abdel Fattah, who is currently visiting the interim capital, Aden, in the presence of Yemen's Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen. Daari, and the leaders of the ministry.
In the meeting, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council welcomed the Egyptian military delegation, and praised the qualitative developments witnessed by sisterly Egypt at various levels, especially in the military and security fields under its wise leadership.
The President also praised the long-standing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, and Egypt's firm stance on the side of the Yemeni people, its political leadership, and its republican system, leading to its active role within the Coalition to Support Legitimacy led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
